Jim Coleman

(Last Updated:  January 6, 2025)

We are saddened regarding the recent passing of our band buddy and percussionist Jim Coleman. Our condolences to his family and many friends. May he rest in peace.

Jim's obituary is available online at Fillatre's Funeral Homes.

Besides adding his percussion talents to the group, Jim was a welcomed addition to our vocals.

The only recording we have of Jim playing is with the Original Crosstown Traffic on a cover of "In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed" by The Allman Brothers Band. It was recorded in Jim’s basement by Troy Turner (CBC Radio, Corner Brook) using a handheld recorder during an interview prior to our 2019 reunion. There was no post recording production and there was only one take.

Below is a promo photo of Crosstown Traffic Revival including Jim taken prior to the 2010 Crosstown Traffic Revival Reunion.
